No Escape

- Nishnawbe Aski Nation, 2005 -

I drank to forget my bad experiences at residential school but the more I drank the more I remembered those experiences. Drinking was a tool I used to hide my character defects, but the more I drank the more these defects showed themselves. I could not escape so I resolved to do something about it. I decided that I needed to quit drinking.
